I am going to start work on guides for each instance in quest mode and hard mode.

Please, please, please post reponses with all the information you can share on leading these instances step by step.

I can only do this with your help. I will edit in all the responses! These guides will only be as good as the information shared!

Hard Mode
During the final boss fight there are four different types of adds: stalkers, toughs, blood-drinkers and creepers. You may kill adds, but one of each type must be alive at the end of the fight to achieve hard mode.

I suggest target marking one of each type of add - then kill all unmarked targets.

Quests
The Lesser Rings: Collect 10 relics of interest
Smothering the Sun: Defeat 10 Merrevail, defeat 15 bats
Bane of Illumination: Defeat the final boss

Pick these up from Chamber of the Crossroads after delivering a letter from [? flet in Lothlorien].

Known Loot
Elf stone barter item for +15 radiance gloves (you need four total for gloves, everyone gets one)
[earring?]

The goal of this instance is to direct the mirrors down to the final boss - it is somewhat of a puzzle.

First Room

Enter the instance and drop down from ledge to ledge until you are just above the wargs.
You have one pair of wargs to the left and another pair to the right with a warg pathing between the two.

Kill the pathing warg by attacking it while it is between the two sets of warg (careful not to pull them all!). Then you may ignore the wargs on the left and and deal with the wargs on the right. After defeating these wargs turn the mirror closest to the webbed door to open it.

First Boss
The first boss is a Elite warg and a pair of wargs. The key to this is to remove the corruptions off the pair of wargs, otherwise the corruption turns into a powerful heal for the wargs.

You can pull the wargs and reset them by running back. This will change the level of the wargs (they are randomly level 60 or 61) or reset the fight if they begin to heal.

When the fight starts the pair of wargs will attack. Assign corruption removal to each. They howl and get an eye on their bar - if it is not removed then it turns into a heart which heals them. Reset the fight if this happens. Each time they howl you need to remove the corruption immediately. Once they are down the main boss [name?] joins the fight.

When the big warg attacks the party gets a buff to their damage and healing. Make use of it while it lasts. Burn down warg. Loot chest (generally has 3 runes, 2 settings and garbage purple item). Turn the mirrors in this room to open up the next webbed door.

Moving Forward

After you turn the two mirrors to open the corrupted doorways (ew) you will go down a spiral ramp until you reach the bottom of a short hallway. Blocking your way are a pair of swarming bats at about 4000 morale each. When they are attacked each of them will call 3-4 smaller bats to attack you as well. They do not do much damage but they will interrupt longer inductions and are immune to stuns. Keep on the main Swarming Bats however, while pulling as many of the little ones from your healer. When the Swarming Bats die the small ones will leave.

Continue down the tunnel until you approach its opening. You will now be in a vast underground chamber. Ahead and slightly to the left of you will see a Morvul-bat Handler(?) <Ancient Evil> with a bat ally standing in front of a cave opening. If you look above him you'll spot two more hanging upside down. You may also see a Morroval Task-Mistress pathing back and forth to the right of the opening and away from you. DO NOT pull her yet. It's important when fighting the Task-Mistress that you do it with no other mobs if possible.

Pull or root the Morvul bat-Handler and his two companions will drop down. The tank should be ready to clear wounds as they will stack them on him. After the three Morvul and their pets are slain proceed to the cave opening where they came from, ignoring the Morroval Task-Mistress.*

*If you get too close to the Task-Mistress do not worry too much about accidently pulling her. She will threaten to attack first, so you have some time to put some distance between you.

Head through the cave into a tunnel (to the left). Around the bend will be another Morvul and a Swarming Bat. Kill the Swarming Bat first then the Morvul and proceed. There are now two ways to proceed. Ahead of you along the path is a Morvul and Swarming Bat. You can kill them now or later (remember to kill the bat first). To your right is the next set of mirrors you need to turn. Walk up the ramp but wait at the top. Ahead of you will be one of the most difficult battles.

Bats and Morvuls Fight
Two Morvuls and two Swarming Bats. What makes this so difficult are the constant interrupts the summoned bats will do to your healers and the their immunity to stuns. Once again kill the Swarming Bats first. Once they are dead the battle will be much easier. Watch for wounds and diseases as well.

After slaying the mob first move the right mirror so it is hitting the left with it's light. Now turn the left mirror until you can see the reflected light across the chasm and to the left. You'll see where it's shining in a moment, you may have to come back for an adjustment. Proceed back down the ramp and engage the Morvul and Swarming Bat. After the battle continue upwards. If you aligned the mirrors properly the doorway should be open, if not go back and adjust the left-hand mirror while keeping a spotter for the door there.

Going through the door have one player go along the right-hand path toward the upside down mirror. Turn the mirror three times (I believe) until the light points straight down, again have a spotter verify that you've done it correctly. From the cave opening proceed left to the edge where the wall and the plateau meet. From here you can drop down to where you first entered this massive chamber.

Double check that the light is pointing downward - once you jump down you cannot get back up.

The First Task Mistress
Now you are ready to take on the Task-Mistress. The trick with her is to make sure she is alone, since you'll want to concentrate all your attention to her. When she engages you she will have a buff (non-removable) that will countdown for about twenty seconds. After that she will have a buff (corruption? Either case non-removable) that will increase her damage output by 1000. It is advised that all three players attack her with as much DPS as possible. The only stun that will affect her is a Fellowship Manoveure {Guardian's Turn the Tables skill is very helpful here] (Go REDS, you are against the clock). Two things to watch out for, if she starts an induction try and interrupt it, or she will stun you for five precious seconds. She may also place an EYE WOUND on you that must be cleared.

After slaying her proceed along the path she was walking. Ahead of you will see a Morvul and his pet bat, with another one hanging above the first. Kill them and get ready to fight the second Task-Mistress. She will be walking by a mob so make sure you attack her when she if far enough away from them heading towards you. Again go all out, watching for the Eye Wound and interrupting her induction. The next mob consists of two Morvul's and their pets. Sometimes one of the bat allies will fall off a ramp trying to get to you, after killing the others go down to the platform they were at and range kill the stuck bat to get out of combat.

Continuing down the ramps you will see a large webbed over opening in the floor. To your right is a Morvul and a Swarming Bat in front of a mirror, and to your left is a pathing Task-Mistress. Kill the Mistress first then the Summoning Bat/Morvul mob. Have a player proceed to the mirror found at the far left (where the Task-Mistress came from) and adjust the mirror so the light crosses the chasm to the mirror where the Summong Bat/Morvul were. Adjust that mirror so the light hits the mirror closest to the ramp you came down on at the edge of the chasm. Then finally turn that mirror to hit the one suspended above the chasm so the light goes straight down, burning the webbing.

In Summary: Looking from the ramp you came down on, turn the FAR LEFT mirror, then the FAR RIGHT and finally the MIDDLE.

Proceed down two levels through the passage halfway between the left and middle mirror. When you get to the bottom stop before the doorway. To make this battle easier you will run in together, past the left side of the mirror (that is keeping the door open with light) and engage the Task-Mistress who spawned when you entered the chamber. If you do this fast enough and before she reaches the mirror she will not call down a Morvul Defiler* who will then corrupt the mirror and attack you as well. If she does reach the mirror all is not lost. Concentrate on the Task-Mistress then the Defiler, keep a look out for it's Fear debuff to keep your power up.

*Morgul Defiler: These foul humanoids will corrupt a mirror (cutting off the light) and attack you. His main modes of attack and defence are as follows. He will place a fear on you (a plus sign with a purple border) that will leach power from you onto him (use Fear Pot). He will also summon bats to make a shield around him preventing damage. This must be removed by a Corruption Removal skill.

After the task-Mistress (and maybe Defiler) are slain, you can turn the mirror to get to the second treasure chest. Three Runes and two Settings along with a purple piece are within.

I would love to do this guide. Most confident instance I feel leading. Next time I'm in I'll take pics, I'll also upload my diagram of the final mirror configuration.
